The new age has come with new discoveries. But this has brought some confusion with it also. Every new arrival brings some stuff with that. Therefore to accept new things some old beliefs need to be put aside for a while or dumped altogether.

Soul searching is one of the first steps when one is looking for an identity. This has sped up in the new age. Looking for self is a condition that causes us to leave our gender identity for a while. This is a very important issue. Even some rituals carry sexual messages during this identity search and some people try to unlock their blocked energies and balance their libidos. But this seems such a futile attempt. When the soul is in charge it wants to get away from the material life and some thing material like sex is the first thing that considers to leave behind. This is unavoidable. It is hard for the soul to push away anything material in ones life in order to have space. When the soul feels trapped it starts searching and finds it doesn’t easily fit anywhere. It is very normal when the soul expands for sexual concepts to become narrow. That’s why people who are in a soul search start to develop more human qualities. When the word “human” is pronounced it doesn’t contain any sexual reference. Human is only given worth, or felt pity because it is human. If sexual identities become significant that would brings the already burdened soul more confusion. Soul might be leaving the sexual identity behind in the name of seeking and searching itself out or simply protecting itself from the risk of suddenly falling in love with the opposite sex while finding itself. 

Soul works in mysterious ways.

In this sort of cases you wouldn’t see a man or woman but walking lights. You might confuse a lamp for the opposite sex. Or you might meet with “the one” you have been waiting for just in the middle of your soul journey. This would be a real challenge for you. Better you stay away from your sacred journey for a while and not feel regretful and saddened in the future.

We can think of a couple whom are about to divorce. They might also have been on a spiritual search, as well. They wouldn’t fit what they have previously created as a life style. In these circumstances people feel very enthusiastic and overwhelmed. Once they fell in love and got married, and shared so many things together. Then, when they feel conflict they curse each other and they forget each other as a man or a woman. They don’t even see each other as a human being in that set of circumstances.

This is a good example of a spiritual couple who turns off the light and continues their journey. Separately both souls eliminate their genders and they keep searching themselves. They work on their goals on safe ground.

Of course most of the time two souls don’t grow at the same speed. When you look yourself in the materialistic world you might not like you are growing but on a spiritual level one is expanding.  But there is no certainty about this so we leave unseen spiritual processes and we might think the person who was successful in material life shows better spiritual improvement. At the end of the day spiritual growth occurs. Soul can have peace in this process.

When souls find what they’ve been looking for or expand towards their goal they sort out their identity problem. They go back into their genders. If they were women they become more feminine, if they were men they become more masculine, or if they are of gay sexuality sex they become more lesbian or homosexual expressive. They continue their life journey. Until the next time they desire further soul searching in the future…
