Since
the beginning of the world, there’s a question frequently asked but not
answered clearly: “Who Am I?” Various answers led to various perspectives,
consequently thought and belief systems emerged. Whereas, in 21th century, as
a new thought and belief system, “unfortunately” new age trends become
widespread. I say “unfortunately”, because, though these doctrines are based
on the necessity of knowing oneself and spiritual freedom, in practice people
take them as a modification and a kind of transformation of present systems;
except a minority who succeed to bring the essence of them into their lives.
Screaming out “we got over the religion and we are leaving it”, people
replacing “God” by “superego” or “the essence”; “devil” by “ego”, “worship” by
“meditation” continue their lives happily and don’t realize that the only
thing that changes is the outer cover.
Let’s
leave it as a topic for another essay, because it will get longer and longer.
What I really want to do is to think loudly about my own answer to the
question “who am i?” and to share it with you, starting with most popular
answers of people who deal with new age trends. I wanted to take the new age
answers as the basis, because, for many years, I thought they were my own
answers too.
I have
a diary from 1995 and I reserved it for my own essay collection, but I left it
unwritten as I don’t have the habit of taking notes. One day, I found it by
chance and saw the thing I had written as an intro: “To High Me Who Created Me
and is Me”. They’d say wooow! And some would cheer saying “See the boy’s
awareness at that age!”. I should confess that I had no idea about what I
meant to write. Since I used to spent nearly all my day occupied with
spiritual knowledge, I was influenced by that culture and I was scribbling
around such words.
Look
at that: “To High Me Who Created Me and is Me”. I ask myself: “How many times
have you felt the energy of these words all through these years?”. Perhaps,
it’s impossible for me to feel that in fact, as there is a problem with the
structure of sentence; there is a differentiation between “Me and Him” though
they’re thought to be the same. Consequently, those lines consist of naive
memories that make me smile, as I haven’t understood those words neither I
have felt them.
Likewise, in all these years I met many people answering variously the
question “Who Are You?”. The most absurds are the ones who hug each other
with dreamy looks, saying “I’m That. I’m The High Creator’s Light. I am One...”
Because the other day I see the same guys with Prozac boxes they took from
their psychiatrists, or moreover while gossiping about each other. This is why
such expressions always seem to me as artificial. The direct reflex reaction;
since you know you’re spiritualist, since you know those books tell us we are
“Thar”, since there is a book with this title... ;
- Who
Are You?
- I am
That!.
- So,
Who is That?
(first
an oooops, and then suddenly) – The Maker, the Creator, light, the God.
Really?
Is it possible that you even don’t see what you say? I only see a human with
flesh and blood and if you don’t mind I’d say that you don’t look like God at
all. (Here I should emphasize that these answers includes deep and very
expressive meanings. However, it looks like a butterfly on a horse’s back when
they’re said by someone who uses the copy paste method. Because, in this case,
there are only the words but not their energy.)
Furthermore, some spiritual identities are getting trendy periodically and
everybody runs to get one. As soon as one of them is mentionned in a channel
information, you can see a plenty of them around. Just before the year 2000,
the “light workers” were trendy. Then, the Indigos appeared and very soon
every 2 of 3 people realized that they are Indigo. As soon, Shaumbra appeared
and is still a popular identity. Nowadays, the Chrystal kids are in. I easily
predict that channels will soon inform us about Ruby Kids and Diamond kids,
thus we will complete our stone collection.
J
We’ll be surrounded by rubies and diamonds. An aunty of 40 years who used to
jump around just two years ago and say “I am an Indigo, moreover one of the
first ones”, will soon say “Lady Blabla has a wide open third eye. She
examined me and found out that I was a diamond in fact!”. Then, human energies
represented by Pegasus the horse with wings will be soon here and I hope we’ll
be wise enough to see that those are only symbols to facilitate the expression,
not for us to put on our namecards.
First
of all, we are men living on this earth my friends. For example, I am Hasan
Celiktas and though I read a lot, though I exposed many identities by copy
paste, though I used to roam around with this “I am the One”, though I
challenged many discussions on “We are the God”, etc, the only “real” feeling
I’ve ever felt is: I am Hasan Celiktas. I’m not a lightworker, neither an
indigo, neither a chrystal, neither a jade nor ruby, neither a diamond,
neither shaumbra, neither the master of light, neither the god, neither The
One. I am Hasan Celiktas and the only truth I feel and try to live is this.
Don’t
even think that those answers are false, neither I refuse them. We are really
precious and high creatures essentially (though is there any creature which is
not?), but if we came to this world, we should live this world. Unfortunately,
we use this identities as tools for escaping since we are not happy about our
lives and this world. As we can’t succeed to change the world and ourselves,
we change our identities immediately and therefore you can see a plenty of
MEN trying to become “angel” or “light worker”, etc. I wrote MEN especially in
majors. Because, if we are on earth, the major truth we have is this!!! We may
be the highness, this One, that One, etc. Anyway, if what is said is true,
after death we’ll experience these stuff for forever. After all this way to
come to the earth to experience the world, dedicate all your life to “become
high”! Wouldn’t they ask you (they’ve already asked) “After death, you will
join all you once left behind. Since you were so devoted to all of that, why
did you leave them to come to this planet?”
“I am
That” is a real strong answer, even though it’s not as strong as “I am who i
am”.
But, the way to feel this or that answer never passes through copying and
pasting them around, nor using them as a signature in some email groups. The
way to reach these answers passes through welcoming the reality that exists
and living it. The real Being is this... Me, I have one reality:
“I am
a man who lives on planet earth, I am Hasan Celiktas”.
What
about your reality?
